The Cook Family

This family is amazing and are dear friends of ours.

This family has left everything to follow God’s call on their lives.

They spent the last year on the East Coast serving YWAM in different ways

and seeking God for all He has for them.

Their two children are like our niece and nephew.

Amy

Amy is bold, spirited and just a lot of fun.

She lovingly challenges me to grow in grace and just be who I am without restraint.

I love this girl!

Crystal

(she truly does sparkle)

Crystal, my beautiful and amazing friend. Her tender heart, willing ear to listen and gentle prodding are all so cherished by me.

I love our times when we get to share tea and just share hearts.

She is an amazing example of God’s love for me in so many tangible ways and I am very grateful God placed her in my life!

These two, though I am thankful for where God is calling them to be, I will miss dearly!

Michael

Michael often makes my work my brain beyond what I thought I could ever work it….lol.

He loves riddles and keeping you suspense.

Throwing out one liners often, he is our guarantee of laughter around here anytime he is here.

David

David, known as; a hard worker, faithful to complete a task; a willingness to be humble and always ready for prayer.

This man is like a big brother. He encouraged me to come out of my shell and remember my fun side that God put in me and together with his family

accepted and laughed at all my goofiness. I admire his willingness to take his family, as did Abram did, and go where God leads….even when the way isn’t completely clear until

the 11th hour.

(Oh he smokes like you wouldn’t believe…..the BEST hamburgers in the world!!! – yes, he smokes meat….not tobacco lol)

These two men hold a special place in our hearts as a family and in our kitchen….

one by eating the other by preparing the food! MMMMmmmmmm

These two are my heroes! I love them both and wish we could all just be together more often.

Thank you Cook Family for a fun-filled afternoon!

Please be praying for this family as they pursue God’s calling on their lives.

Sr. Joel R.

This shoot was so fun! I did Joel’s sister last year and was thoroughly looking forward to his shoot this year

My first memory of Joel was…..Oh My Goodness, who is this kid!

Well, I did finally find out and he is a fun, loving-life kind of guy.

We have had MANY laughs since then….right Joel??? HA!

I always like to try and find a way to help my Seniors relax so to start off we visited the Auto Museum.

Since Joel is a car enthusiast, this was a big hit.

The lighting wasn’t my favorite, but what did that matter if you get your picture

taken next to the Flintstone car from the actual movie????

From there on Joel was ready for the rest of the shoot.

He was full of jesting and many laughs.

Can one expect anything less from him???? I think not.

Now if you know Joel, then you know I am considerably shorter than he is.

Sooooo, I decided it was time to bring him down to size….

Joel was a terrific sport! He let me try some new and different perspectives.

See if you can figure out all the sports he plays from this shot.

Joel is a die hard Steelers fan. Yes this is a real game ball and yes the ENTIRE team’s signatures are on it. WOW!

He has been featured in the paper often this football season and

well, be watching for his name in the college league and maybe someday for the pros!

All in all it was a fun filled day of laughter and lots of walking!

Thanks for hanging out with us Joel, and for hanging in there with all the walking.

Sr. Stuart S.

My first memory of Stuart was an 11-year-old boy, who was quiet and enjoying being in my astronomy class with his friend Philip.

Stuart has grown into quite the impressive young man.

His interest in astronomy may have faded, but he has become an amazing pianist and composer.

We really had a lovely time in the park…

(we even had a fly by)

Stuart enjoys tall things…

Especially buildings…

Stuart has a fun side….getting it to come out in public is a challenge….but I think we finally found it!

Stuart, your talent amazes me; I know as long as you follow God you will go so far!

I pray your senior year is filled with many memories and excitement of dreaming about your future.

Congratulations, Stuart! You’re nearly done and the next chapter will be exciting.

I look forward to watching God grow you more!

Thank you for a wonderful afternoon of fun.
